This Ukrainian restaurant has a schmaltzy Eastern European atmosphere, right down to the frilly blue and white outfits worn by the waitresses. The kitchen specialises in fish dishes, so try the raw fish appetisers to start, followed by the lemon salmon. The pelmeni (small, meat-filled ravioli) is also good. Live Ukrainian music is sometimes played here, usually Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm. It’s on the east side of the city, next to the gold-domed Russian church.
