Getting there & away
The Ruinas de Mayapán are just off Hwy 18, a few kilometers southwest of the town of Telchaquillo. LUS runs hourly 2nd-class buses between 5:30am and 8pm from the Noreste terminal in Mérida (M$14 each way, 1½ hours) that will let you off near the entrance to the ruins and pick you up on your way back. Again, you may want to consider renting a car to get here.
