Getting there & away
There are several points of embarkation to reach Isla Mujeres. The following description starts from the northernmost port and progresses southeast. To reach Puerto Juárez or Punta Sam from downtown Cancún, catch any bus (M$4) displaying those destinations and/or ‘Ruta 13’ as it heads north on Av Tulum. Some R1 (Zona Hotelera; M$6.50) buses make the trip as well; ask before boarding.
