    Los Pelicanos is hands-down the best on the island

    Luca is a chef par excellence. We always begin our meals there with a frito mixto, which consists of shrimp, squid, and fish lightly battered and quickly fried. Then it's on to the homemade pastas and risottos that IMO are unequaled in any other Italian restaurant I've eaten in anywhere. I adore the asparagus risotto. Europeans tell me his tiramasu is the best they have ever tasted. Don't miss our favorite Italian chef when on Isla Holbox!
