Hey People! :)
I wanna visit Havana from Cancun at the end of January 2015 - for 1-2 week trip.
I've heard that there is so many flights available from Cancun, with small airlines, that You can find round-trip flight for 150 USD.
Flight compare websites are checking only big, expensive airlines so I don't know where I supose to look.
I'll be in Cancun on 15th Jan and I wanna go couple days later.
I'm looking for a flights Cancun-Havana 21-28 January & Havana-Cancun 4-9 February
We are flying into Cancun late January for a five week trip. I would like to bus to Chetumal, rent a car and tour the local area. My plan is to stay flexible, only rent the car for trips when it is needed or we are staying 'out-of-the-way'. The search results for Chetumal car rentals, all seem to rent out of Cancun. Has anyone rented a car in Chetumal and if so, where?
Can anyone tell me if ATMs anywhere in Mexico City dispense currencies other than Mexican Pesos?
There are many countries where ATMs at airports, in particular, dispense as many as six different currencies.
If I can get Euros out of a machine in Mexico City it'll save me bringing some to exchange later in Cuba.
Looks like I'll be in the Tulum area over the 1st. I am not a party animal, prefer watching a sunset, stars
come out, campfires to be around, rather than bars. Any such thing? I keep looking for alternatives to Tulum for New Years Eve, I'll be coming from Chetumal (Xpujil). The hotel scene in Tulum doesn't sound like it'll be
mellow on New Years. I know, that's when people party. I prefer not to. Suggestions on places to stay.
I want to see Sian Ka'an, and the beaches and ruins.
There have been wide spread gas station scams at all three PEMEX gas stations reported by tourists over the years. I went to one of them (on 95 Av Sur & Av Lic. Benito Juarez --the road from San Gervasio Mayan Ruins to downtown). a few days ago to fill up tank before returning the rental car. At the gas station, I only drove ~80 kilometers on a full tank. The 2 attendants asked me to show them how much gas I have left (2/3 full). Then they filled up my tank for more than US$51. I told…
Greetings Mexico Traveler's:
Not coming up with what I need in the Search function. Need help.
Taking bus from Morelia to Observatorio this Friday. Debating on taking Metro to the airport in DF as opposed to taxi. If I have time that is. I am looking at metro route and it looks like there are several stops to get there. Any idea how long this could take? Also it may be mid afternoon. Will I be okay with small day pack and carry on wheeled bag? Or is this a bad idea? I have used the Metro in…
I was booking a direct flight from Norway to Cancun, and a warning came up that I have to confirm my info on the airlines website 10 days in advance (name, passport number, etc), or I can be denied check-in and boarding since the flight is traveling through US air territory.
I assume its the APIS.
So far, so good. But the last sentence states that the US Goverment can deny me to even enter the plane, and that made me a bit insecure.
I got my ESTA revoked two years ago, applied for a visa at…
