This place has two specialties: carne en su jugo (meat cooked in its own broth flavored with beans, bacon and green tomatoes) and fast service (so speedy it landed in the Guinness Book of Records in 1996). Neither will disappoint.

    Recommended by a Mexican friend, we visited Karne Garibaldi in Guadalajara November 23, 2009 and were immediately impressed by everything about the experience. The place was attractive, easy to get to, and we were served before we could straighten our chairs. Refried beans with corn, tostado chips, fresh onion and cilantro, tortillas, radishes, and limes were placed before us before we even discovered the menu. We ordered Garibaldi Chica and quesadillas and from the first bite of the meat dish (like a soup, but so much more) we were hooked. Waiters unobtrusively removed used napkins and brought more refritos when our supply wes low. One word - "Magnificent!"
