I'd recommend San Cristobal for sure, and the surrounding villages (like Chamula, Zinacantan etc). Palenque is a must. The Sumidero…

3 its a nice drive through Jungle. Montebello is nice but so is Las Nubes. I did it in the winter so it wasn't that hot.
