Lonely Planet review
To feel like you’re in the thick of things, dine in this open-air Parque Hidalgo restaurant – it’s been here for over half a century. The menu includes good caldo tlalpeño (hearty chicken, vegetable and chili soup) and decent steaks. There’s marimba music Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 8pm to 11pm.
