    Highly recommended - Vege/Vegan friendly

    We weren't expecting San Crisotbal to be so accomodating for a vegetarian and a vegan, but we couldn't have been more wrong. While SC has many options that vegetarians/vegans will want to explore, make Mayambe a top priority.
    One of only a handful of places in the south of mexico that seems to know what asian food looks like, let along tastes like, the proprietor is extremely accomodating and can customise most of the dishes to your dietary requirments and taste on request. Veges are fresh and the wedges are some of the best within a hundred kms if you need that taste of home.
    He's also got some good stories if it's quiet enough that you can get him to sit down :)

    English speaking staff were also helpfu.
