Lonely Planet review
This improbably located country club, accessible via a cable car or a steep drive from the edge of Taxco, is good for views and a relaxed weekend getaway. But it’s hard to see what all the fuss is about – the rooms are plain and somewhat neglected and Taxco itself is an effort to get to. Use of the nine-hole golf course is extra.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Montetaxco and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Taxco.
