Museo Textil de Oaxaca information
More than just a collection of display cases, this museum aims to promote Oaxaca’s traditional textile crafts through exhibitions, workshops, films, presentations and a library. Themed selections from its stock of around 5000 Oaxacan and international textiles, many of them a century or more old, are always on view.
One-hour guided visits (M$10) are given at 5pm on Wednesday and Friday – in English as well as in Spanish if three or more people request this.
