Lonely Planet review for La Brújula
This is a great stop for good coffee; fruit smoothies; breakfasts (including waffles with fruit); salads; and home-baked bread, cakes and cookies. It is rightly popular among artists and expats.

A Travelers Dream Cafe...
haitiangurl recommends this,
Wi-fi is not readily available in Oaxaca cafe's so this cafe is a total gem in that
it provides free wi-fi... But what's really incredible is how wonderful and fresh the food here is.. After taking a bite of my Smoked Salmon sandwich, I had to take out my laptop and write a review!Deliciously made with basil and cream cheese, avocados tomatoes, and spinach... I'm told the owner lived in the US and came back to open this shop for artists. students and travelers hungry for organic foods. The deserts are yummy if just a tad too sweet but made from scratch, the smoothies are amazing as is their coffee.. In my five day stay in Oaxaca I've come here at least 4 times and have not been disappointed!
The place is also really beautiful and comfortable reminding me of my beloved Intelligentsia Cafe in Chicago!
