Part hostel, part hotel, this friendly, family-owned joint in a renovated colonial building offers modern and immaculately clean facilities and amenities (cable TV on plasma screens, leather couches, quality mattresses and bedding, good kitchen, good clean bathrooms). The loads of freebies (wi-fi, filtered water, internet terminals, shampoo, hairdryers, lockers) make it one of Oaxaca’s best hostels. There’s also a decent onsite restaurant-bar (mains M$50-100; 8am-5pm).
