Swiss- and Laotian-owned Edén Costa, 500m inland from Bahía Chahué, has quiet and attractive rooms with nice touches including colorful bird murals. Rooms have two double beds, and most overlook the small central pool.
Hostal Luna Creciente
A very clean little budget hotel a block north of the Plaza Principal, with bright rooms in yellows and blues and nice bits of tiling in the bathrooms.
Posada Leo
A friendly little budget spot just past Hotel Jaroje Centro, with six smallish but neat and well-kept rooms, all with hot-water bathrooms.
Agua Azul
Designed for couples, this welcoming Canadian-owned B&B sits on a hillside garden site, with pool and sea views, in a residential area a couple of kilometers east of Tangolunda.
Hotel Villablanca
In a vaguely colonial style, this hotel, 300m from Chahué beach, has helpful staff and a nice large pool. The 60 attractive, white-and-blue rooms are tile-floored and all have balconies.
