Cafe Firenze information
Lonely Planet review
In a nondescript location, on the continuation of Ancha de San Antonio (past Instituto Allende on the right-hand side), is this tiny, Italian-themed gem. Head upstairs and take your pick from the daily specials – handmade pasta, osso buco , great steaks and one of the best chocolate desserts in Mexico. The ultrafriendly and passionate English-speaking owner-chefs are Mexican (but surely Romans in former lives). Reservations recommended as it fills early.
