El Rey del Cabrito information
This local institution is synonymous with Monterrey and serves up its most famous dish: goat. It's a masterwork of kitsch with an extraordinary neon interior complete with deer and lions hung on the wall. The signature cabritos are slow-roasting over charcoal in the window as you arrive, and dishes come still sizzling on a bed of onions, with salad and tortillas.
