Lonely Planet review

On one of the city’s most exuberant and historic streets, the Moneda is an altogether more modest affair than the nearby Hostel Mundo Joven Catedral, though it remains a favored stop on the international backpackers’ circuit. Chief among its assets are a well-informed, bilingual staff and a terrific multipurpose rooftop, suitable for sending emails or swinging in a hammock.
