Lonely Planet review
Housed in a converted, once-derelict bodega (storage room) across the bridge from Zihua’s pier, this artsy hostel is the brainchild of local artist and surfer Malinalli. The colorful rooms and common areas are decorated with Mali’s original artwork and Mexican handicrafts. It also has a communal kitchen, rooftop terrace, hammocks, a laundry area, bike rentals and a cafe featuring fruits from the courtyard orchard. Mali speaks several languages and offers airport pickup in her van, plus surfing trips to local beaches.
