    Try San Francisco. Just north of Sayulita. Gorgeous beach there.We stayed in a hut but it wasn't cheap!

    Nice beach places tend to be expensive because someone has to find a good location, build on it, then clean up the trash and keep it present…

    Montereyjack - I think you are referring to Palapas Las Iguanas. Yes they are still there and still available for rent.
