This popular spot perched over the beach is OK for a sunset drink in the early evening, but it goes ballistic after 11pm when it’s packed with college kids dancing on tables, chairs and each other. On a tiny lane that connects Avenida Playa Gaviotas to the beach.

    Watch the waiters....

    After an afternoon of eating and drinking, part of our group left. Gramps paid his part of the bill, but waiter never took it off of the bill when the rest of that group left. Would have thought it was just a mistake, except the brides parents and friends stayed, had been drinking all afternoon, and paying as they went. When the men went to settle the bill, ( 9 buckets of beer and a few straight shots later) They paid the bill in full, realized later that the women had been paying for drinks as they came. Over charged by over $100.00. Twice was not a mistake.....and stupid on our part. In the 20 years I have been bringing groups to Mazatlan, it was the worst dishonesty I have witnessed. Will never step foot there again!
