The Park Royal's 218 rooms are spread out on various levels and floors, but only about 40 of them have sea views. Most standards have two beds, a really big TV, great air-con and a bathroom done up in lovely subdued brown marble.
The Park Royal opened for business in its present incarnation in 2003, and remodeling continues on the former Radisson resort to this day - though you're unlikely to deal with any construction noise. A tram carries guests down to a large swimming pool sitting just above the hotel's relatively secluded stretch of beach. Rack rates cover three meals a day and all the drinks you want. You won't get to experience some of the amazing restaurants that Acapulco has to offer, but it does make for a hassle-free beach vacation.
