The Grand Hotel Acapulco is right on the beach and in the middle of La Costera's action. Its 638 plush rooms and suites have marble bathrooms - most with private balconies. Two inviting swimming pools, a passel of palm trees, and a bevy of bars and restaurants round things out.

Formerly the Hyatt, the beachfront Grand Hotel Acapulco is one of the newer feeling resorts in Acapulco Dorado, thanks in large part to a 2005 renovation. While the rooms are looking great, it's still uncertain whether The Grand will provide the same level of service as the Hyatt - it switched hands at the end of 2008. For those looking to stay beautiful, there's a fitness center and a new spa onsite. It's also the only Kosher hotel in Acapulco, featuring a Kosher restaurant (December and February only) and an on-site synagogue.
