Madera’s little bus station (572-04-31; cnr Calle 5 & Mina) has services to Chihuahua (M$190, five hours, hourly), Ciudad Juárez (M$360, eight hours, two daily) and Nuevo Casas Grandes (M$174, four hours, two daily).

Take care if driving to Madera during the night; there are some big cliffs and tight turns on the road coming up here.
