Video of the Yucatan and a bit of Chiapas

This past summer I brought video gear with me traveling in the region and I produced a video and put it on YouTube. Hopefully, it can give you some laughs and insight about the regions. So, enjoy it. Also, since it is the very first time I did video work from beginning to end, by myself, I would love some feedback if you do watch it.

English version.

Being fluent in Spanish, I also did a Spanish version for those of you who speak better Spanish than English.

Food in Puerto Escondido (Mexico?!)

I am sitting here at Cafecito on Zicatela beach eating what can only be described as junk food, to be honest. We have also eaten at our hotel, Santa Fe's restaurant - we ordered camarones in chilli sauce and the prawns really tasted as if they were not au point, they were hard. We ordered them and they were brought out almost immediately, I think they must have been pre-cooked, very sad. Please please can somebody tell me somewhere decent to eat for the next 2 and a half days; it is hot here…

Transit from Puerto Escondido to Oaxaca

Hello,

We are in PE and shall be leaving here this Saturday to go to Oaxaca. We have 2 choices: we can either fly by AeroTucan (GBP80/person) or we can go by Ado bus (GBP18/person). Although the plane is more expensive, that is not the problem. But we are not happy flying on such a small plane and here is my question which I would appreciate advice on as soon as possible: if we go on ADO, it is a 10 hour journey but we do see the country which is what we are here for, obviously, but yesterday…

Bus schedules for Quintana Roo area

Hello, I do know about the ADO website that shows bus schedules but I also know that there are other bus companies that run all over the place as well. So, my question is, are there other bus companies or more scheduled ADO buses that what the website says running regularly throughout the day between these cities: Chetumal, Tulum, Valladolid/Piste/Chichen Itza and Playa del Carmen? The schedules on the ADO website seem to only have buses running in the early AM hours or only one bus around 9AM…

Alamos (Sonora) to El Fuerte (Sinaloa) mid December. Recommended Bus Companies, Risk in Daylight?

Been to Mexico and many Latin American countries, many times over on my own, but haven't been to Mexico since 2009 (2014 was Colombia and Costa Rica). When in Mexico, I'm usually driving around the highlands, and avoid Sinaloa altogether. Now I'm travelling with my significant other, and want to minimize risk more than usual.

I need to get from Alamos to El Fuerte, in around a week from now, the same day. If it's totally safe, I see that there's second class buses running the long way around,…

Cascada de Roberto Barrios

Hi everybody!
Have you heard of Roberto Barrios and local river cascades?
Planning our stay in Palenque. While making research I have found a short info about that. They say it´s really nice and more quiet than Aquas Azules.
Have anybody been to there? How can we get there without car? How much time we need?
Thanks in advance!!!
