Nieves del Malecón information
Jarochos prefer sorbets (nieves) over ice cream and this is one of the town’s sorbet favorites, sandwiched between the malecón and the zócalo . Loquacious ‘callers’ stand outside drumming up business, competing with a rival place (with its own ‘callers’) directly across the street. Try the delicious mamey (apple) flavor, or opt for the Veracruz staple, vanilla.
