murals in metro station

I was in Mexico a week or so ago and I came upon a great mural in either Auditorio or maybe Balderas station. It was caricatures of music icons from the 60's.70's,and 8o's.I took some photos but never took a photo of the board that had the key to who they were.I was wondering if anyone knows the muralists name so I could look up his\her name and see more of this artists work. Also would anyone know where I could find a picture of the board that told me who they were.

One reason why I would like…

Planning a road trip to Mexico, worried of various laws in the country

Hi, I'm planning a trip to the country by mid-May along with my friends. We are a six member group and planning a road trip on our Harley. It is the first time we are planning a trip to Mexico and during our inquiries found various rules, which is bit confusing. I understand we need to get our rides insurance and I've already bookmarked an online mexico insurance site and I think it is an easier way to get our quote. I'm now worried about other rules, or say in general, DON'Ts when in Mexico. I…

Mexico/Tikal/Belize in May

Firstly, thanks to everyone who posts and replies as you have already done a lot of the hard work for me. I just have a few specific questions I'd like to ask about my travel plans so far.
Overview: couple on holiday for 3 weeks in May. Into Cancun, out of Belize. Happy to find accomodation on arrival but would welcome recommendations in each destination. Looking for private with bathroom. Not completely basic but no need for luxury. Cheap to mid range budget. Sociable would be nice.
Budget…

Hotels in La Cruz (Sinaloa) or maybe Mazatlan ?

Are there any decent accomadations in La Cruz (Sinaloa). My dog and I will be driving from Ajijic/Lake Chapala on our way to Navojoa after Easter. I really don't want to drive at night or more then 8 hours in one day . Which leaves me with the other option of staying around Mazatlan. Pet friendly is important. Something comfortable and safe for my car.

Immunisations in Mexico City

My partner and I are flying into Mexico City (from New Zealand) mid October to begin a 2 year trip down through the Americas. We are just wondering if anyone had any information or advice regarding receiving some immunisations in Mexico City rather than doing it here in New Zealand where it would cost us several thousand dollars. We understand that some of them take several weeks to be effective, and that there are often follow up shots - we're prepared to work around this. The shots we are…

Drive from Cancun airport to Playa del Carmen in mid May

Hi Guys,

Can you tell me if it's a wise choice to drive from the airport to Playa at 7pm in late May? I will have a look at google maps of course however we will be fresh from 20 hours transit and driving on the right side of the road for the first time ever.
I have heard that it's best to stick to toll roads, don't drive at night and traffic can be aggressive but I was not sure if this applies in a high tourist area.
I am thinking 45 minute journey at most then settle for the night. I am sure…
