I need help with the itinerary yucatan peninsula and chiapas. Any suggestion?

Hi,
I'm having fun planning my next trip in Mexico. I'll be there for a couple of weeks in February and I was thinking about doing the following itinerary. I'll be traveling solo and my main goals are relax, sightsee, eat, observe nature, dive and take pictures. I can't make my mind if it's too packed but I would really like to get in Chiapas too. I guess moving by bus on this quite touristic route shouldn't be too much hassle. Any advice or suggestion?

So this is what I was thinking:

Meztli Spanish School in Tulum and yoga

We will be taking Spanish classes at Meztli Spanish Language School in Tulum for two weeks in February and they do give us yoga classes free of charge in the mornings before our Spanish lessons. But being new to yoga and excited to learn it we were wondering if others who have been at Meztli would recommend we take some classes at home before we arrive. Thanks!

Walk from Mexico to Panama -- How?

Hi All,

Is it possible to safely walk from Mexico to Panama for an adult white male of medium build? This would be a long-term trek of course, and I am willing to take whatever roundabout route is necessary. Advice?

Mexico -> Guatemala -> Honduras -> Nicaragua -> Costa Rica -> Panama

Van rental in Cozumel?

Searching around the web and having trouble finding a place that rents passenger vans. There will be 11 of us. Thinking a van will be cheaper and easier than 3 cars (if available). Anyone know of a reputable place that offers vans?

Kid-friendly diving in Cozumel?

I am thinking of doing a dive in Cozumel and want to take my sons, ages 10 and 13. We would get certified, but I would still prefer to dive in <30 feet depth for peace of mind. Does that sound realistic? I read good things about Palancar Reef. Do most of those organized dives take place in <30 feet of depth? I got certified 20 years ago and haven't had a chance to use it much, so I may be thinking about this all wrong. We've been snorkeling in Akumal, etc., but I get the impression that…

Accommodation in Tulum on New Years

Hi all,

I'm travelling to Mexico with my girlfriend, and arrive on the 29th December to Cancun from London. We want to travel through Yucatan Peninsula before we head down towards Belize & Guatemala. We are going to be in Tulum we think for the New Year, and wondered if anyone knew of some good cheap places to stay for that time? I have tried quite a few hotels, and have found some availabilty at the Cabanas Zazil-Kin, but have read lots of bad reviews. Wondered if there was somewhere…
