Barranca de Metlac
Fortín’s most striking feature is this deep, bio-diverse ravine carved out by the Río Metlac. Spanning it is the Puente de Metlac , the highest rail bridge in North America, measuring 131m high by 90m long. Alongside it sits a slightly older and marginally lower road bridge. The original rail bridge, the Puente de San Miguel , sits a couple of kilometers to the north.
