About me
I’m an electrical engineer, traveling and working abroad. I like Asia and South America. Speak 6 languages and love to interact with locals in their languages. I try to learn the key words before i arrive to the country. Taxi drivers don’t take me seriously, but others do.
Indonesia was very impressive. I enjoyed being there, in particular our trip to Rinca and Komodo island. Now with my wife we are in Kuala Lumpur enjoying warm climate and eating plenty of mangoes.
I also write an publish stories describing various places in the world. Lufthansa loved one of my stories so much they intercepted me once at the Vancouver airport and exchanged my ticket to business class. I wrote another another story on that flight and sent it to them. They loved it again and circulated it throughout the organization. My stories are not promotional, but rather humorously critical of the various situations that happen around us in the world places.
I stumbled on this site, though I have seen in it often on TV, while searching for a flight to Palau from Manila. Apparently it is a regular flight, but it is not listed anywhere.???
Croatia Dalmatian coast is another jewel. That is our home. We are not often there, but try to spend three summer months a year in Split every year. It is as expensive as every other part of Europe, but the island are wonderful.
