About me
Always cycled but took up racing and touring as a teenager. Later found a love for wild places but before mountain bikes, so took up hill-walking. Eventually did a solo Pennine Way, Offa’s Dyke Walk and South West Way.
On retirement, returned to cycling and camping as a means to cheap travel. I’m also a member of Servas UK.
Music is my other great passion; I’ll expand on this later.
Photography – well, see my Flickr pages at:

Servas International: (http://joomla.servas.org/ ) already provides such an experience. With origins as a peace movement, it has become a way of staying with people abroad and experiencing the culture (including the food, quite often). Check out the website for your own country, eg ServasUK.
Also, Worldwide Opportunites On Organic Farms (WOOFS) at http://www.wwoof.org/ offers free lodging and organic food in return for a few hours work each day
