About me
Female vegetarian early 30s. Spent 1 year travelling with husband many moons ago but settled down back in the UK and now trying to take as many holidays as possible as far away as possible.
Value conscious – don’t like being ripped off, don’t mind staying somewhere cheap – but I have my limits – dirty, noisy hostels are OUT, funky eco-friendly hostels are IN. Since splashing out on a fabulous honeymoon, getting a taste for a bit of luxury, but prefer paying for excellent food, really friendly service and a fab location rather than a brand or officious service. I like walking / cycling in beautiful countryside (especially waterfalls and lakes) but also lazing around on sandy beaches. Favourite countries (so far) are Vietnam, Iceland, Bolivia and Croatia. And of course, Scotland… Ambition – to go to Antarctica and see the penguins.
