I’m a writer, blogger, conflict resolution and human rights specialist who has lived aboard for the past 11 years…and counting.

I haven’t stayed in the same place for longer than 2 1/2 years, but my dedication to coffee (ok caffeine), large windows and people watching (not stalking I swear) has never wavered.

I enjoy traveling to uncommon places, and common places people forget to see in their rush to get somewhere.

Oh, I also enjoy beer, hats and backpacks…OK, I love backpacks, especially when there are beers and hats inside.

I’m writing my first book on my 1,200 km walking pilgrimage to the 88 Buddhist temples of Shikoku Japan.
