About me
I’m a Ph.D. student in economics currently from Los Angeles, California. I travel for outdoor recreation and great food. I’ve been to Canada, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Iceland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Egypt, and the UAE, in addition to 48 US states.
My favorite international destination so far is Patagonia (runners-up: British Columbia, Iceland, and Bolivia). My favorite domestic destination so far is Alaska (runners-up: Oregon, Utah, and California).
My favorite places in my home state of California that everyone should try to visit are Yosemite (in spring), Big Sur, Point Reyes, Redwood National Park, and the Eastern Sierras (in fall).
My biggest travel desire is Antarctica (runners-up: New Zealand, South Africa, and Japan).
Upcoming trips: Alaska in June 2012; Oregon in August 2012.
