About me
I’m a freelance translator. As such, I can take my yearly vacation off-season when air ticket prices are the lowest. Living with two cats and one dog, I can’t be without them more than a few weeks, which limits my travels to once a year, about 20 days each time
I wandered around a bit in USA, Europe and Southeast Asia when I was (relatively) young. In my 40s, I visited national parks in Asia (Malaysia and Sri Lanka) and Central America (Costa Rica and Trinidad & Tobago). Recently I went to India 4 years in a row till 2008, and visited Africa for the first time, Namibia and Botswana, in 2009. In 2011, again to Africa, Uganda this time. This year I’m going to South America for the first time, Bolivia and Peru.
