I live in Fredericton, New Brunswick. I’ve travelled extensively in my home country of Canada and the neighbouring U.S., and embarked on my first trip abroad in the fall of 2004. I went to France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany for 6 weeks and loved it.
After many trips to the U.S. growing up (including driving across its Northern States with family one year), my first big trip there on my own was in July 2006, when I took the train to visit friends in Houston, TX (and taking side trips to Austin, Galveston, and western LA), and Washington, DC; I also had stops in Boston, MA, and Chicago, IL.
In 2007 I returned to Houston for three weeks, flying directly there this time, and visiting Austin and the many of the surrounding areas of Houston.
I’ve now visited NYC twice, once in 2008 for two weeks, and New Year’s 2009 for a a few days. I’m returning this summer for another two weeks, and I’m stopping in Boston for a couple of days on the way.
