Do a google search for school holidays in Australia and New Zealand. Some resorts do not take children anyway.

Retired. Married. Live New Zealand. Holiday in the Pacific Islands 3 or 4 times each year. Stay 2 weeks to 3 months. Used to own Apartment in Waikiki but sold after 9/11, now stay closer to home .
Bought another apartment in Waikiki in 2007, now stay there up to 4 months each year.

Navini is very nice but its a bit harder to transfer between the two groups than to transfer within either of the groups.

You can walk from Raffles to the airport but the path is a bit rough if you are taking luggage and they run a shuttle service anyway....
