I have recently returned to NZ following an 18 month OE mostly spent in the UK and Europe. Prior to this I studied towards a degree in Economics and International Business at the Victoria University of Wellington, NZ.

I spent the majority of my time abroad working as a bar maid on the remote Isle of Iona, off the West Coast of Scotland.

Throughout this time overseas I had the pleasure of visiting most countries in Western Europe and a fair few in Eastern Europe too.

Particular favourite trips were a week long cruise around the Croatian Islands in an old pirate ship, a long weekend with three friends to Paris, a week spent exploring Budapest, meeting long lost relatives in Ireland and a whirlwind our of New York with some work collegues including an amazing dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant!

I am now settled back in Wellington and working for a bank here in NZ. I still have the travel bug though and am planning a trip to Japan sometime next year.
