Retired American woman who lived in Israel for two years [99-00, 02-03], as a volunteer at a school in East Jerusalem. I continue to volunteer as well as work partime, now that I’ve returned to USA. I went to China summer of 07 for a month. My pleasures today:trying daily to serve God, along with reading, walking, solitude, going to new places and just absorbing life’s moments. Grateful for good health and a happy heart!

New in 2008: in the process of volunteering for the Peace Corps, as a senior citizen. Would love to hear from anyone who has served or is currently in the Peace Corps. My projected departure date: early 2009/
