Though am from sri lanka studied in katmandu,nepal 5 years, avid fan of lonely planet nepal (currently reading the sri lankan edition). absolutely fascinated by beaches (my home is 500m away from the beach of colombo)and the Himalayas, love trekking and cycling. been to muktinath, manang (yak karkha-long story). Annapurna Base Camp (in 5days!!!), helambu and many more small treks in nepal. not to mention having visiting places ranging from tansen to Dhankuta).
hoping one day to visit gokyo and kalapathra in the solkumbhu region
In sri lanka Horton Plains would be my first choice.
