So, to try and revive this thread on Sci Fi, just recently re-read The Difference Engine. Great book, I see steam punk...

Passport question for Australian international travellers
Anybody know the regs for Australian Kids travelling O/S? Do I need to get them seperate passports or can I add them to mine. They are 1 and 3 yrs old.
Cheers

Like vivekw I too have been an expat almost my whole life. Born in the UK (Best nappies) left at 1, lived in Malaysia (Best Roti, best Tea) moved back to England (Best hmm.. Moors?) moved to Canberra, Australia (Best Telecom Tower) moved to Melbourne eventually (Best black clothing stores). The country I miss the most is Malaysia, as I loved the heat and being able to swim every day..

Hmm, bar open on Brunswick Street has been good in the past, but I love the Corner, still makes me think of fave band haunts of my youth..stick carpet - check, columns obscuring stage - check, medium to average PA - check, great bands - check

Nasi Lemak or a full english, I find it difficult to seperate. I think the location dictates the choice. Nasi Lemak from a makan stall in Penang, full English after a big night out in Manchester.

Wow, a portable DVD player sounds like the go, are the batteries an issue for the flight time, do most airlines have powerpoints?
