About me

I am still a student, for another couple of months at least, and they seem to be passing faster than I expected or wanted to. So right now I’m on a search for what I want to do when I grow up, kind of. I’m thinking of taking a gap year and do some more travelling and work as well while I’m there. I think I’d like to start with France, preferably south of France for climate reasons, living in England for 3 years has made me appreciate nice weather like a glass of cold water in the desert.

Other than my plans for the future and what I am doing in the present, my past is filled with travel stories and camps and teenagers adventures. For my 21st birthday I counted the 21 countries I visited. I’ve spent a lot of time in various means of transportation, I feel most comfortable in train stations and airports but I will always prefer trains to anything else. I can’t ride a bike and that’s a shame but I am at that point where I’m a bit scared of it actually. I went bungee jumping at the Sziget Festival in Budapest in the summer of 2008 and a year later sky diving at the Romanian sea side. bungee- never again, sky diving- yes, please.

When the icelandic volcano erupted I was in Jerusalem visiting a friend and we were stranded there for a couple days more at his family and didn’t get on the same flight back and I thought I was going to miss my flight because of the thorough check at the airport’s security. My most spontaneous trip was when I went to visit some friends in Munich and I bought the tickets on Sunday night to depart on Monday morning and I loved it.

I want to learn brazilian portuguese and go to brazil when I can speak a little and stay there until I speak it fluently. same thing is available for my French, I can speak it and could probably have a conversation but I want to be fluent in it as I am in Romanian and English.

And I love cats. and coffee. and music. and books.
