• Country: United Kingdom
  • Biography:

I was born in England but grew up in Australia, my parents spent a fair amount of time moving when I was young so I think that has given me the travel bug and I have been questing ever since!

I love to go to new places but get especially excited about countries that are really different to where I live in England. I have been lucky enough to have visited many places including Sri Lanka, Africa, Bali, Hawaii, Egypt and Iceland among others and even lived in India for 6 months which was amazing.

I love getting to know the culture and trying new things, especially the food and wandering the local markets to see what’s on offer. I enjoy learning about local history when I’m away, and I really like seeing the achitecture of temples and other important buildings. Wildlife also features highly wherever possible.

In my spare time I love to cook and have recently started growning my own vegetables too. I enjoy cinema, music and theatre but mostly travel.

I been the customer care manager for a large online retailer for the last 5 years but have had an array of different jobs from dental nursing to a publican as well as a short stint in the army!

My life is an adventure and I want to make sure I try everything I can while I can.

Eventually I would dearly love to work in travel which would combine my skills with my passion

I was lucky enough to have visited Mumbai, Goa, Kerala, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur and Hampi which was fantastic and if you get the chance you should try and stop in there for a few days

It only happens in the Imperial Cafe - they give a free doughnut with every coffee so have lots left over everyday - you can see them in a huge copper vat at the bar. Anyone can buy the vat and start a fight at any time! I haven't done it but thought it sounded great for a fun birthday with lots of friends.
