About me

This is NOT anti-English.

The BRITISH government, for the last 40 years, has done nothing to secure any kind of future for England. Oh, they’ve made sure that they PERSONALLY, and their families for generations to come, will live the High Life.

Oil was discovered in the North Sea nearly 40 years ago. Not Scottish oil. BRITISH oil.

But because of where it lies geographically, Norway has also enjoyed a financial bonanza for the last 40 years.

But there is a very large difference in how each nation has used that bonanza.

In Britain, we have spunked the lot maintaining our “international status” allowing us to continue eating with the big boys at the top table. In reality, all this means is that our MPs get invited to swankier dinner parties.

The Norwegians, on the other hand, have been squirreling away their share – and once the wells run dry, for they DEFINITELY will, the INTEREST alone from their savings will generate more income than Oil currently does.

So when the wells do run dry – so too does our income (and our “status”?). But over in Norway, they won’t even notice! In fact, they’ll probably have some form of celebration when the last tap is turned off – to thank the North Sea for ensuring that generations of Norwegians will be financially secure.

Google “Norwegian Oil Fund”. Please.

#8. Of course they will. Still, proof that you don't need to be bankrolled by a sheik/gangster/crook to be successful.

No idea Pubescent. I hope there's more to him not even being in the squad than just Levein's usual fuckwitedness.
