1:00 pm bus still runs from Autogara (main bus station) to Chernivtsi. Sometimes it doesn't run on Sundays.

I have been Michael Palin’s guide at Moldovita Monastery for his most recent show “Palin’s New Europe”. The Romania episode was broadcasted on September 30th, 2007. I was called “Carolina” – don’t know why they changed my name… I am based in Suceava and offer guided trips to the painted monasteries of Bucovina. 7 of them are UNESCO World Heritage and they are unique in the world as their outside frescoes are original and have resisted almost 500 years of rain, snow and -35 through +35 degrees Celsius temperature.Recent activity
