Mariposa Lodge
The Mariposa Lodge was conceived in 1999 to fulfill a need for moderately priced accommodations that would offer divers and others a higher lever of comfort that has become the standard by which others are now measured.
The Mariposa is situated 100 meters from the beach in the heart of West End, on the carribbean island of Roatan, Honduras the Mariposa Lodge is surrounded by dive shops, restaurants, and local artisans shops. The recently renovated Mariposa Lodge is nestled on a knoll surrounded by tropical gardens with all units facing the ocean. Ceiling fans, tropical breezes and spacious decks add comfort and enjoyment to your time in the Bay Islands.
Roatan offers some of the best scuba diving in the Carribean, as well as phenomenal snorkeling and various other ocean sports. Shiatsu and European Massage are available on site. With direct flights from Miami, Atlanta or Houston and a choice of Continental, TACA or Delta, this is the best opportunity ever to visit Roatan.

I would strongly recomend CoCo View on Roatan. Not only is it away from the crowds, they include unlimited shore diving in thier price....
