Haha yeah. We're looking at a very tentative plan of Mumbai>Cochin>Munnar>Madurai>Maybe Goa if we need a break>Hampi and then to Rajastan and Varanasi on the way to Nepal. Obviously it gets looser as we go, who knows if we'll stick with the plan but like to come with something in mind. A lot of my israeli friends have gone so I heard lots but the consensus seems to be that you can't imagine it until you're there. Basically expect the unexpected and you'll love it.

Hi all my husband and I are heading to India and Nepal for a 4 month trip and are starting the adventure in Kerala (Cochin>Alleppey>Munnar>Madurai>....). We land in Mumbai on Dec 30 (21:00) and plan to fly to Cochin the very next morning. Any recommendation of where we can stay for the night? We're looking for as close to budget as possible while staying within reasonable cleaniness. Are there decent options nearby the airport or do we have to head into town? Thanks in advance!
