About me
A couple of years ago I quit my job at a Belgian bank.
I had a great time, had many career opportunities and I could really do ‘my thing’.
But I felt I run out of time for other interests. I have rather many and life is rather short.
In fact, I think the only thing I miss in this life is ‘time’. Despite time-management…
I like to travel, see the world. Have contact with interesting people.
My favorite destination is South-America. I feel somehow connected with Andean people.
I was already in Colombia – Ecuador – Peru – Bolivia – Chili.
Now I am planning a new trip in 2010 tot Peru and Brasil.
(Apart of South-America I’ve traveled all over Europe. Some travel to the USA.
And countries in the Northern part of Africa, as well the Middle East.)

Brazil 2010
Hi...
As I'm planning a riverboat trip starting from Iquitos/Peru to Santarem/Brazil I really would appreciate if someone has tips or trics to do or to avoid. I plan to travel alone.
I've been in South America more than once but never alone.
It will be the first time I visit Brazil.
If there is anyone who wants to join me... Give a sign...
I'm not that young to be afraid off. And definitely not that old.
I arrive at Lima around may 3 2010. Before going tot Iquitos I will
travel around in Peru. Coming to Iquitos end of may 2010.
