About me
Born in South Carolina to part-Inuit parents it’s hardly surprising that Elliott stood out from his good-ole-boy school mates. Before long he’d hit the road and the road hit back. Persevering, he has managed to cobble together a humble existence from writing guide books mainly to the bits of countries that tourists don’t go to. It’s been quite a trip and he’s thankful to Tom Robbins for giving him the necessary outlook on life to appreciate at least most of it.
After years of pretending to be British, Elliott’s Europeanism started taking a more genuine root having met a Belgian beauty in a Turkmen camel market. Poor girl, the camel would have been cheaper.
