try "pan con chicharrones", bread with fried pork fat in Argentina, goes well with bitter "mate", and "tortas fritas" alone or with "dulce de leche".

Hey, dont have to go that south to get really good argentinean beers. Try Otro Mundo, it started hand-made, now found in supermkts, still great. Also Antares is a very good choice, with various types, also served in a few own bars called Antares (in Palermo, BA; Mar del Plata; etc). Also try Bullers at Recoleta, BA, you can get a test kit, and see all the factory. Patagonia brand is also worth trying. Quilmes is only for parties when u can only afford cheap beer, however dark types are very good (stout and bock), or Bieckert Africana. Wasteiner and Stella Artois are supposed to be exported recipes, and are good, yes. well, not an alcoholic, but like a glass, but only one, when the moment is worth!

Saldungaray Cementery. Artistic entrance by famous argentinean artist Ing. Arq. Salamone. This old tiny enchanted rural village is near Sierra de la Ventana, which has mountains of near 1200 masl, only 557 km SW from Buenos Aires, and at 120 km from the Atlantic Sea. Good for trekking all time of the year.
