About me

I go by the name of mánaljós, which means “moonlight” in Icelandic. I’ve been to Iceland over 20 times since 2001 and I always have a plane ticket in my pocket for the next trip. Although hiking/backpacking is my preferred means of getting around, I do occasionally use the other forms of transportation available in the country – from horseback to superjeep, to snowshoes and bicycle.
